The reading hall of the JINR Science and Technology Library (STL) was full of readers. They thoroughly prepared for the jubilee of the home library – declarations of love, toasts, congratulations, wishes of success and only the nice, sincere memories met the ear. JINR Main Scientific Secretary N.A. Russakovich read the congratulations of the JINR Directorate to the library staff.

 

The literature exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the birthday of the outstanding scientist Academician N.N.Bogolubov will be held at the JINR Science and Technology Library on 19 August. Scientific works that made a massive impact on development in mathematics, mechanics and physics will be presented at the exhibition. You can get acquainted with the Bogolubov’s scientific works on plasma theory which were first issued in 2008. “Collection of the scientific papers” by N.N.Bogolubov in 12 volumes will be presented. The collection’s publishing was started at 2005 and finished near the scientist’s birthday centenary. The materials and collections dedicated to the life and scientific art of N.N.Bogolubov will also be exhibited.
