LHC: with models developed, now it’s time for experimentalists
World science, 14 September 2010
An International Advanced School on Modern Mathematical Physics was held at the JINR BLTP for the eighth time. About 80 students, postgraduates and young scientists who specialize in this area participated in the School. Among lecturers were scientists from the Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS, the Institute for Nuclear Research and the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (Moscow), JINR, Universities of Ferrara and Torino (Italy). Schools like this are a unique opportunity for students and young scientists to get acquainted with most modern trends of theoretical physics, to get answers to all the important questions and just to communicate with masters of theoretical physics.
