On 1 September 2011, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Suan Shaun organized a reception in Moscow on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of independence of Vietnam.

Numerous representatives of different ministries, agencies, diplomatic missions, public organizations and scientific institutes attended the reception. JINR was represented by JINR Director Assistant G.M.Arzumanian and head of the national Vietnamese group Nguen Man Shat. Pham Suan Shaun cordially accepted an invitation, proposed to him on behalf of JINR Director, to visit JINR in the nearest future.
