A report seminar of the Ukrainian national group of JINR was held in the frames of days of Ukrainian Culture in JINR on 14 September in the JINR House of scientists. Ukraine is the first country of JINR Member States which held a review of scientific achievements of its staff members on the 20th anniversary of independence of the country.

A high delegation consisted of Academicians of the Ukrainian Academy of Science came to Dubna to inspect achievements of Ukrainian scientists. JINR Vice-Director M.G.Itkis welcomed guests. First Deputy Chairman of tate Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization of Ukraine, Plenipotentiary of Ukrainian Government in JINR NASU Academician B.V.Grinev spoke about scheduled visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister to JINR.
