Round Table Italy–Russia @ Dubna

On 11 December, 2011, the Round Table Italy–Russia @ Dubna was opened. This Round Table will be held on 11 – 17 December in the frames of the two sections:
1. Astrobiology: New Ideas and Research Trends.
2. Black Holes in Mathematics and Physics.
The Round Table Italy–Russia @ Dubna is organized by the Embassy of the Italian Republic in the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The main goals pursued by this Round Table are as follows: reviewing the status of Italy – Russia collaborations in the mentioned fields of research; establishing new scientific collaborations and providing the conditions for their formation.
Important aspect of the Round Table is the co-presence of highly distinguished scholars from such scientific areas as biology, paleontology, biochemistry, astronomy, astrophysics, geology, mathematical physics, cosmology and more. This is done in order to afford possibilities of establishing new connections between Russian and Italian specialists working in these areas.
This Round Table which takes place at Dubna can be regarded as one of a bright events concluding the year of the Russian culture in Italy and Italian culture in Russia.
