A delegation of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Pham Suan Shon participated in ceremonial events dedicated to the JINR Foundation Day on 26 March 2012.

The Ambassador was accompanied by Secretary on Educational issues Truong Quang Vu, Military Adviser Wu Wang Sim, Secretary for Science Pham Thanh Xuan and the Leader of the Vietnamese national group in JINR Nguyen Manh Shat. Representatives of the JINR Directorate headed by JINR Director Academician V.A. Matveev accepted congratulations of the Vietnamese delegation at the Green Hall of the International Conference Hall. The Meeting participants discussed perspectives of cooperation between scientists of Vietnam and Dubna in the major directions of JINR activity, paying special attention to JINR participation in training of young Vietnamese scientists.
