JINR Days in the Czech Republic is being held this week in Prague.

A delegation from Dubna will present a photographic exhibition "The Czech Republic in JINR", prepared by the JINR Scientific Information Department. JINR representatives will speak about the history, current projects and prospects of the Institute, status of the NICA/MPD project, the IBR-2 upgrading, development of heavy ion physics. Meetings with Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, representatives of Czech companies, visits to universities and scientific centers and to the plant VACUUM PRAHA are planned. Protocols on implementation of joint research projects between the ASCR Nuclear Physics Institute and JINR, and between VACUUM PRAHA and JINR will be signed in the frames of the JINR Days.
