A delegation of the Belarusian State University consisting of Dean of the Faculty of Physics V.M. Anishchik, Director of the State Enterprise "Active BSU" V.V. Hodassevich and Yu.A. Fedotova, head of the laboratory, secretary of the Committee on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and JINR visited Dubna on 17-18 June 2014. At the JINR Directorate the guests were received by JINR Chief Scientific Secretary N.A. Russakovich, Director of the JINR University Centre S.Z. Pakulyak, Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department Dr. D.V.Kamanin, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists M.A.Nozdrin. Prospects for enhancement of cooperation between JINR and the BSU on educational issues were discussed at the meeting. In particular, there are new prospects for cooperation in the fields of education due to the decision on the establishment of the UC Scientific and Engineering department.

The guests visited the FLNR accelerator complex and educational laboratories of the UC. The concluding meeting was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Engineering Sciences of the University "Dubna" A.S. Denikin. Participants agreed on a visit of a JINR delegation to the BSU in the second half of September. It is expected that a study of possibility to purchase of laboratory equipment for JINR educational projects and enlargement of the documentary base, regulating cooperation between JINR and the BSU, will be the result of the return visit.
