On October 28, 2015, the press tour for journalists from England, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, India, China, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, France and the Republic of South Africa was held in JINR.

The highly intensive introduction program included visits to the JINR laboratories: Laboratory of high energy physics, Laboratory of nuclear problems, Laboratory of nuclear reactions. The journalists submitting youth, popular scientific, political editions were given the chance to examine activity of scientists and engineers at the factory of superconducting magnets, showed medical cabin in the center of proton therapy, and also acquainted with activity of the scientists making experiments and working on accelerators in JINR laboratories. Later in the International Conference hall journalists listened to the presentations of the Chief scientific secretary Nikolay Rusakovich on history of JINR foundation, 60-year history, major work and research directions, and to the Head of department of innovative development Alexander Ruzayev on the main innovative projects of the Institute. After the presenttaions the  journalists had an opportunity to interview and ask questions.

The press tour was organized in cooperation with the City administration of Dubna.
