The Guest pre-anniversary meeting of the JINR Finance Committee and session of Committee of Plenipotentiaries of JINR Member States are being held on 16-22 November 2015 in the capital of Belarus Minsk at the invitation of JINR Plenipotentiary of Belarus, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus A.G.Shumilin.

Preparation of the Plan for Development of JINR for 2017-2023 is in the focus of the meetings. JINR Director Academician V.A.Matveev will open the meetings and will make a reports. Topics of his reports are: "Recommendations of the 118th session of the JINR Scientific Council” (September 2015), an overview of the results of JINR activity in 2015 and plans for 2016, the main directions of strategic development of the Institute for 2017-2023".

JINR Chief Scientific Secretary N.A.Russakovich will report on preparation of the Plan for Development of JINR for 2017-2023; a draft of the JINR budget for 2016 will be the topic of a report of JINR Chief Accountant S.N.Dotsenko. Participants of the meeting of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries will consider the recommendations of the JINR Finance Committee, which is held in Minsk on the eve of the CPP on 17-18 November, as well as the audit results of the JINR financial activity of 2014.

Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department D.V.Kamanin will present information on the events dedicated to the 60th anniversary of JINR. The agenda also includes scientific reports.

After a general discussion, the meeting of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries will be concluded with adoption of decisions and signing of a protocol.
