MOSCOW, 21 September – RIA Novosti. At the 33rd World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilieva invited the countries of the Eurasian economic Union (EAU) to participate in the project of the NICA collider.

“We invite countries of the EAC to participate in this mega-project,” — said Olga Vasilieva on Wednesday.

The Minister reminded: “The objective of the NICA project is establishment on the territory of the Russian Federation of an interdisciplinary research center of the international class, with a unique complex of modern superconducting heavy-ion accelerators, which have no analogues in the world today”.

In her speech, Olga Vasilieva also noted the strengthening of cooperation of Russian scientists with scientists of the EAC countries.
