The 21st Summer School for Young Scientists and Specialists Lipnya-2017 organized by the JINR Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) will start on Friday, 14 July. The Lipnya-2017 Summer School will be held on 14 – 16 July 2017 on the basis of the Tourist Base “Lipnya”.

The scientific programme of the Summer School includes lectures by JINR leading scientists on the current status and prospects of the JINR advanced research conducted at the basic facilities.

This year, the lectures will answer the following questions: what are the secrets neutrons can reveal? Is there life on other planets? What do we know about radiation? What are the prospects for neutrino and is gravitational surfing possible?
