In August 2016, the JINR Visit Centre started the training programme for specialists in the field of international relations from the JINR Member States and Associated Members; the programme is aimed at development of the information base of cooperation. On 9 August, the first trainees from Egypt Ms. Sahar Abdalhaleem, General Manager of the General Administration of Dispatch & International Cooperation of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Agency (EAEA), and Mr. Osama Abou El Fetouh, Executive Secretary of the Egyptian Information Network of Nuclear Physics, Database Administrator of the Egyptian Academy of Sciences and Technology (ASRT) started their work in the JINR Visit Centre.

Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of A.R.E. in Moscow Mr. Atef M.A. Mohamed arrived at opening of the training in Dubna.

During the six-week training Egyptian colleagues will get acquainted with the structure and activities of JINR, in particular, with activities of the JINR International Cooperation Department. The training programme includes visits to JINR laboratories and establishing of contacts with project leaders, meetings with the JINR Directorate, lectures, participation in JINR conferences and social programme.
