JINR Prizes for Young Scientists and Specialists in 2024

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research announced recipients of the Prizes for Young Scientists and Specialists in 2024. The prizes of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research for Young Scientists and Specialists are awarded annually for the most significant experimental, theoretical, methodological, technical, and applied works by young scientists and specialists under 36.

Each applicant is required to make a presentation at least at one of the AYSS JINR conferences during the year. For each category, the jury has the right to award the first, the second, and the incentive prizes. The jury consists of leading JINR scientists, specialists, and employees of the Institute’s offices and departments, AYSS representatives, and employees of other scientific organizations.

Theoretical research


  • Second Prize — Nikita Tsegelnik (BLTP);
  • Incentive Prize — Mariia Mardyban (BLTP).

Experimental research


  • Second Prize — Tatyana Khramko (LRB);
  • Incentive Prize — Polina Gergelejiu (FLNP), Vladislav Shalaev (VBLHEP), Aniruddha Dey (FLNR), Anh Mai (FLNR).

Methodological and technical research


  • Second Prize — Elizaveta Bushmina (VBLHEP), Alexander Popov (FLNP);
  • Incentive Prize — Igor Liashko (DLNP).

Applied technical research


  • Incentive Prize — Marina Donets (FLNP), Veronika Smirnova (FLNP).

Technical and applied research


  • Second Prize — Ivan Sokolov (MLIT);
  • Incentive Prize — Tatiana Zaikina (MLIT).
