Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the JINR University Centre invite children and young people aged 7 – 35 to participate in the International Drawing Competition dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of JINR. The Competition is held in the frames of the 65th anniversary of the JINR foundation.

Those who want to participate in the «65th Anniversary of JINR» Competition should submit their works directly to the Panel of Judges from 1 February to 6 March 2021 by regular mail (address: 141980, 6 Joliot-Curie, Dubna, Russia. On the envelope one should mark “to JINR UC”). Electronic versions of works shall be sent to kids@jinr.ru.

The Competition shall be held in two nominations: “Best hand-drawn image” and “Best digital image – computer graphics”. Key requirements for the Competition: works shall to be performed by participants by themselves and it should reflect the theme of the Competition and illustrate a subject directly related to the 65th anniversary of JINR, its history, people, and discoveries. For example, it may illustrate the chemical elements discovered at JINR. Both individual authors and groups of authors (teams) can take part in the Competition.

The results of the «65th Anniversary of JINR» Competition will be summed up on 1 April 2021. The winners will get prizes; their works will be published on the JINR and JINR UC websites. In addition, the participants will have an opportunity to show their drawings to the whole world since the winners’ works will be used in various publications and demonstrations dedicated to JINR, at open events, and in the social networks of JINR and the UC.
