On 19 – 20 October, a delegation of ITMO University headed by Rector Vladimir Vasilyev is having a working visit to JINR. Guests discuss prospects for cooperation both in science and training of the staff at ITMO exclusively for JINR.

“I find it significant to start fulfilling joint, albeit small, projects to which each of the parties would contribute resources. I mean people saying “resources”. It is the main one. In the 2000s the currency was money, then in the 2020s, the currency is data. And the currency of the 2030s will be talents. If participants contribute resources to such a project, it will then attract a large collaboration,” JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov noted.

During the visit, ITMO representatives will make reports on their research and expertise. Excursions to the laboratories and the basic facilities of JINR are planned.
