News, 08 June 2021
The document includes the establishment and development of cooperation between JINR and IBEC in the fields of work with suppliers of the Institute, uniting efforts for efficient implementation of the programme of industrial repayment of contributions from the JINR Member States, and strengthening the potential of long-term financial and economic cooperation of the parties.
The signing ceremony took place today, on 8 June, in a mixed format within the framework of the 136th meeting of the Council of the International Bank of Economic Cooperation. JINR Director RAS Academician Grigory Trubnikov signed the document on behalf of the Institute online.
“Today, we sign the agreement online with great pleasure but we are taking as a commitment to visit IBEC by a large team to discuss particular steps for implementation of the agreements,” Grigory Trubnikov noted.
Chairman of the IBEC Board Denis Ivanov signed the agreement on behalf of the Bank. He noted that all eight IBEC members are also the Member States of the Joint Institute, which is a good foundation for the cooperation enhancement. “We already cooperate with two companies: Polish Frako-Term and Czech Vacuum Praha. They supply a number of components for the NICA collider. My colleagues and I were full of pride when we saw logos of these companies on the equipment of the Institute. We are proud to support such a large-scale project,” Denis Ivanov highlighted.
The parties also agreed to hold training seminars and business internships. Moreover, the Institute and the Bank are working on joint promotion in the international arena.
