During celebrations to mark the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences, several leading JINR scientists, Academicians and Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences have been awarded high State Prizes of the Russian Federation for their scientific contributions.

JINR Vice-Director, RAS Corresponding Member Vladimir Kekelidze awarded the Order of Friendship.

FLNP JINR Chief Researcher, RAS Corresponding Member Victor Aksenov awarded the Order of Honour.

Head of the FLNP JINR Division of Neutron Research and Developments in Condensed Matter Physics, RAS Corresponding Member Alexander Belushkin awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merits to the Fatherland”, I class.

Special Representative of the JINR Director for Cooperation with International and Russian Scientific Organizations, RAS Academician Boris Sharkov awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merits to the Fatherland”, II class.

JINR Assistant Director for the Development of Biomedical Projects, RAS Corresponding Member Grigory Shirkov awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merits to the Fatherland”, II class.

FLNR JINR Chief Researcher, RAS Corresponding Member Leonid Grigorenko awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merits to the Fatherland”, II class.

VBLHEP JINR Chief Researcher, RAS Academician Igor Meshkov received the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation.
