From 22 July to 2 August 2019, the International Helmholtz School “Quantum Field Theory at the Limits: from Strong Fields to Heavy Quarks” will be held in Dubna in the International Conference Hall.

The School will continue the series of international workshops and schools held in Dubna (1993, 1996, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2013, 2016), Bad Honnef (1994) and Rostock (1997).

The School covers major branches of physics of strong fields and heavy quarks. On the one hand, such issues as the matter’s behaviour in strong fields with high intensity will be discussed. On the other hand, participants will consider fundamental problems of the Standard Model and the search for new physics beyond it.

The total number of participants is supposed to be about 100 people representing 17 countries.
