“Guttenberg’s Smoking Room” is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.

This time, the following books will be presented:

• “Corporation of impostors. Shadow Economy and Corruption in Stalin’s USSR”, Oleg Khlevniuk. Presentation by Ilya Gapienko.
• “Sex and repression in savage society”, Bronisław Malinowski. Presentation by Yahor Dydyshka.

Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
