Guttenberg’s Smoking Room meeting

“Guttenberg’s Smoking Room” is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- “Good Arguments: How Debate Teaches Us to Listen and Be Heard”, Bo Seo. Presentation by Maria Pilipenko.
- “Anything You Can Imagine. Peter Jackson and the Making of Middle-Earth”, Ian Nathan. Presentation by Vladimir Panin.
- “Les partis politiques”, Maurice Duverger. Presentation by Yahor Dydyshka.
- “Alchemy of Soviet Industrialization: Torgsin”, Elena Osokina. Presentation by Ilya Gapienko.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
