Guttenberg’s Smoking Room meeting

Guttenberg’s Smoking Room is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- Between Christ and Antichrist. “The Adoration of the Magi” by Hieronymus Bosch, Mikhail Mayzuls. Presentation by Anastasia Kazakova.
- Why nations fail: The origins of power, prosperity, and poverty, Daron Acemoglu, James Robinson. Presentation by Victor Kalitvyansky.
- The hidden paths of Tunisia: Living and telling the revolution, Vasiliy Kuznetsov. Presentation by Elena Badawy.
- Class: A guide through the American status system, Paul Fussell. Presentation by Elena Lev.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
