Many employees of our Institute and its veterans are gifted not only in their profession but also in arts. Therefore, in agreement with the JINR Directorate, the celebration of the upcoming 65th anniversary of JINR on 26 March 2021 includes the Festival of artistic activity of JINR employees.

The Festival programme will include poetry evenings, concerts of vocal and instrumental music, art and photo exhibitions, as well as exhibitions of applied art. These events will be held in the Blokhintsev Public Library of JINR, the JINR Cultural Center “Mir, the JINR Scientists’ Club, and the Museum of History of Science and Technology of JINR.

We invite JINR employees and veterans to take part in this Festival. Proposals for consideration and selection should be sent by e-mail to two addresses at the same time: G. L. Vardenga vardenga@jinr.ru and I. E. Leonovich irajinr@gmail.com (to cover vacation absences).

Please observe the following conditions:

• Poems are limited to 50 lines;
• You could offer not more than three musical compositions to perform and, of course, you should specify the form of their performance: a solo vocal or a specific instrument or ensemble; it is desirable to accompany the request with a video recording of the performance;
• You should send by email photos of your works for exhibitions of art, photography, and applied art (the limit is set to 5 five works);
• The same applies to applications for a photo exhibition. Please note that if the quality of photos is equal, preference will be given to those that are devoted to the JINR activities.
