On 24 April 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

FLNR JINR Scientific Secretary Alexander Karpov will deliver his lecture “Synthesis of chemical elements in laboratories”. This is the second lecture of the “Synthesis of chemical elements in nature and laboratories” series.

The speaker will talk about the history, methods, and prospects of searching for the limits of the number of chemical elements in laboratories. The lecture is intended for a wide audience and does not require special preparation.
