On 6 November 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Head of the annual study of social satisfaction of the JINR employees Tatyana Balueva will deliver a presentation “Sociology at JINR and beyond”.

The seminar will cover three key aspects of conducting sociological surveys at the Institute. “Back in the USSR”: a brief excursion into the history of mass surveys and research into the issue of job satisfaction. “Why haven’t I receive any calls?”: the basics of conducting quantitative sociological research. “Mayonnaise in salads and desired income”: results of the study of social satisfaction of the JINR employees. The seminar participants will have a chance to ask questions and suggest directions for future research at the Institute.
