AYSS seminar at JINR Scientists’ Club

On 2 October 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).
An FLNR JINR leading engineer Andrey Baginyan will deliver his report “Why the triple handshake is common on the web, or In pursuit of the network packet”.
The seminar is devoted to network addressing, assignment of network devices credentials, explaining the concepts of routing and switching. In addition, the main governing bodies of the Internet will be presented, the work of the domain name service will be analysed, the process of establishing TCP/IP-connection between hosts in the JINR network and hosts located in any part of the globe will be shown. In conclusion, the author will discuss the global routing protocol of the Internet and observance of security rules.
