Speaker: D. N. Voskresensky

Abstract:

After a short discussion of various possible phase transitions in the phase diagram of the nuclear matter and a standard phenomenological description of phase transitions, EoS of the baryon-rich matter is discussed. Then focus is made on the hydrodynamical description of the first-order phase transition of the liquid-gas type. A primary role of the viscosity and thermal conductivity effects in the dynamical description of the phase transition is indicated. Formation of structures in the spinodal region is considered. Then Fermi-liquid approach to collective excitations in the baryon-rich matter is applied. A possibility of a scalar field condensation in a dilute nuclear matter and a metastable state are discussed. Pion and kaon instabilities are also considered. Possible instabilities of the collective modes in peripheral HIC are discussed.
