Seminar topic: “Trigger efficiency evaluation in a xenon run at the BM@N Experiment with a beam kinetic energy of 3.8 AGeV”
Speaker: Vasilii Plotnikov
A method for assessing the efficiency and systematic uncertainty for the main interaction trigger is shown. It is found that an important factor leading to a decrease in the trigger efficiency is the passage of two or more beam ions in the trigger window. A method for selecting events for analysis is proposed, which allows reducing the influence of this factor and saving event statistics. The change in the parameters of various trigger elements during the entire run is shown.
