I will speak about the history, main trends and prospects of scientific work of the Laboratory of Analytical Research of the Institute for Nuclear Problems of Belarusian State University (INP BSU). Main points of presentation are the next:

  1. What is the Institute for Nuclear Problems of Belarusian State University?
  2. What is the Laboratory of Analytical Research of INP?
  3. What is Volume Free Electron Lasers (VFEL)?
  4. Experimental discover of parametric x-ray radiation.
  5. Mathematical modeling of VFEL nonlinear dynamics.
  6. Information technology based on free software.
  7. Establishment of nuclear knowledge management system in the Republic of Belarus and development of Belarusian portal of nuclear knowledge BelNET.
  8. New methods of quality control of alcohol and alcohol-containing products.
