Seminar topic: “One track and two tracks events in the scintillation wall as part of the data analysis of 2022 SRC Run at BM@N

Speaker: Sergey Nepochatykh

Abstract:

The second study of short-range correlations (SRC) in inverse kinematics happened at the BM@N experiment in March 2022. One important modification of the setup compared to the first SRC measurement in 2018 is the new scintillation wall aiming at fragment identification. The first preliminary results of the scintillation wall data analysis are presented. Here events with one and two fragments in the wall are considered. It is shown that the scintillation wall can measure the charge of the fragments in the range from 1 to 6 in contrast to the beam counters, where higher charges are distinguishable.
