Abstract:
The paper presents accelerating RF systems of the C235 (IBA, Belgium), SC200 (Dubna-China) and MSC230 (Dubna) cyclotrons.
The assembly, adjustment and start-up of the new version of the C235 cyclotron produced by IBA (Belgium) were carried out in Dubna. The accelerator is operating at the Federal High-Tech Center of Medical Radiology of the FMBA of Russia in the city of Dimitrovgrad.
The SC200 is a compact cyclotron with a superconducting coil developed for proton therapy in collaboration with ASIPP (Hefei, China) and JINR (Dubna, Russia). Currently, the accelerator is manufactured, the magnetic field is formed, the beam is extracted from the accelerator, the intensity of the internal beam is about 350 nA.
The compact superconducting cyclotron MSC230 is designed for proton therapy and biomedical research and is underway at NEONU of DLNP of JINR.
The paper presents the results of calculations and development of accelerating systems of these cyclotrons.
