On 29 September 2022, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will be held in the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Nikita Kovrizhnykh (Junior Researcher at FLNR) will give a presentation “Synthesis of superheavy elements: in search for the stability island”. Nikita will talk about one of the newest directions in nuclear physics – the field of superheavy elements. The seminar will address the following questions: What are superheavy elements? Why do we need them? How can they be produced? What have we already achieved?

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
