A delegation of the French scientific center IN2P3 at JINR

A regular meeting of the Joint Committee on the collaboration of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics (IN2P3), France and JINR was held on 3 February 2015 in Dubna. On the French side, the meeting was attended by Director of IN2P3 Jacques Martineau, IN2P3 Deputy Directors for Research Dominique Guillemaud-Mueller, Reynald Gilbert Roger, Ursula Bassler, as well as a specialist in IN2P3 international collaboration Soizic Radegonde Sergent and Counsellor for Science and Technology of the French Embassy in Russia Alexis Michel. JINR was represented by JINR Director V.A. Matveev, JINR Deputy Directors M.G. Itkis and R. Lednický, JINR Chief Scientific Secretary N.A.Russakovich, Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department D.V. Kamanin, Director of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems V.A. Bednyakov, Director of the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics V.V. Voronov, Deputy Director of the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions A.G. Popeko.After the meeting of the Coordination Committee at the JINR Directorate the delegation members visited JINR laboratory. They were acquainted with work of the FLNR cyclotron complex. They visited VBLHEP, where they were told about the NICA project, the factory superconducting magnets, the detector laboratories.
