The 53rd meeting of the Programme Advisory Committee for Particle Physics of JINR will be held on 29 June 2020 as a video conference. The event will be opened by PAC PP Chairman I. Tserruya.

  Programme of the PAC for Particle Physics

In the frames of reports on the current projects presented with the focus on the impact of the pandemic, reports on the implementation of the projects “Nuclotron-NICA” (A. O. Sidorin) and BM@N (M. N. Kapishin) will be made. N. N. Agapov will report on the infrastructure developments, including the Nuclotron.

The programme of the meeting will be continued with reports on themes and projects approved for completion in 2020 and proposals for their continuation: MPD (A. Kisiel), COMPASS-2 (A. P. Nagaytsev), TAIGA (L. G. Tkatchev), JUNO / Daya Bay (D. V. Naumov), and NOvA / DUNE (A. G. Olshevskiy).

The agenda of the event includes also a meeting of the PAC members with the JINR Directorate. Adoption of recommendations of the 53rd PAC PP meeting including proposals for the next PAC meeting will conclude the event.
