Today, a one-day International Workshop «Detector Advisory Committees of the MPD and BM@N projects» is held in the Laboratory of High Energy Physics JINR.

The meeting of the Advisory Committee of the BM@N experiment was opened by JINR Vice-Director, VBLHEP Director V. D. Kekelidze with the report on the present state of the NICA complex and the Nuclotron accelerator. Dmitry Dementiev, Anna Maksimchuk and Sergey Sedykh also took part in the first part of the event dedicated to the BM@N project. Another half of the Workshop is dedicated to the meeting of the Advisory Committee of MPD that was opened by Head of the MPD Collaboration Adam Kisiel. He presented information on the current status of the project. The theme of the MPD project was continued in reports by Sergey Movchan, Igor Tyapkin and Marcin Bielewicz.

Meetings of both advisory committees will be concluded with general discussions of participants.
