From 20 January 2020, registration to scientific schools for teachers organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is open. Programmes are held on the basis of the world-largest scientific centres: the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR’2020) and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN’2020).

The programmes are focused to reduce the “distance” between the school and fundamental science, to encourage broadcast of modern scientific knowledge among the wide audience.

JINR’2020

A regular School for teachers of physics, mathematics and IT from the JINR Member States will take place in Dubna from 12 to 19 July 2020. This year, JINR joins efforts with the State University “Dubna”, and about 20 teachers and 80 students will participate in the Summer School “Physics. Mathematics. IT”.

To take part in the School, it is necessary to register on the website and submit an application on the webpage of the School-2020 until 14 June 2020. Please, pay attention that teachers and students should submit different applications to different organizing committees. Selected applicants will receive official invitations from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

CERN’2020

In 2020, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research jointly with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) will organize the 30th Scientific School for teachers of physics from the JINR Member States at CERN that will take place from 1 to 8 November.

To take part in the School, it is necessary to register on the website teachers.jinr.ru and submit an application for participation in the School until 16 August 2020. The list of applicants selected by the organizing committee will be published on 31 August on the webpage of the School.
