JINR Director V. A. Matveev addressed to the Institute’s employees his congratulations and wishes on the occasion of the New Year.

Dear colleagues, dear friends!

First of all, I would like to congratulate you and your closest colleagues on the New Year 2020 and Christmas! I wish you and those who are dear to you good health, happiness and well-being as well as new creative achievements.

It is a great honour to me to share with you congratulations and best wishes I got from Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Governments of the JINR Member States and, first of all, from Chairman of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiary Representatives, Plenipotentiary of the Government of Russia in JINR M. M. Kotyukov.

It is commonly agreed that the past year was the most successful in the modern history of JINR. However, we have enormous and responsible work ahead of us, and the future of our international Institute depends on it.

On behalf of the JINR Directorate, I would like to wish you an extensive and fruitful work on the proposed by the JINR Seven-year plan major tasks of the Institute, including implementation of its ambitious mega-science projects, draft of long-term development strategy of JINR until 2030 and further, and obtaining brand new scientific results in breakthrough areas of fundamental physics.

With our solid financial base provided thanks to enormous support from the governments of the JINR Member States, firstly from the Russian Government that allotted considerable special-purpose funds for the implementation of the mega-project “NICA Complex”, we should do everything possible to achieve desired work pace from the beginning of the New Year 2020.

On behalf of the JINR Directorate, I wish all the JINR staff every success in work on the implementation of plans and achievement of stated objectives.
