On Saturday, 19 January 2019, the first festival of winter fishing for the JINR staff members was held on the ice of the old riverbed of the Volga river near the water stadium named after V. Nehaevsky.

The competition was attended by more than 20 people of all ages. The winners and participants received prizes sponsored by Mironov Roman, the fishing shop “Silver Stream Dubna”.

The event was organized by Andrey Shemchuk (VBLHEP), Krystian Roslon (VBLHEP), Sergey Karetnik (VBLHEP) and Alexander Verkheev (DLNP), with the support of the JINR Hotel & Restaurant Complex Management Office, the Ministry of Emergencies, and the Dubna City Administration.
