Workshop in Shenzhen
News, 24 November 2017
The 2017 JINR/BLTP – SKLTP/CAS Joint Workshop on Physics of Strong Interacting Systems will be held on 26 November – 1 December 2017 in the Shenzhen University in China.
This workshop was co-organized by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics JINR, the Key Laboratory of Frontiers in Theoretical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Shenzhen University with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
The objective of the Workshop is to bring together theoreticians and experimentalists for deeper understanding the properties of the low lying excitations of nuclei far from stability and mechanisms of fusion. During the Workshop there will be discussions within already existing collaborations as well as new collaborations will be created to solve the problems of common interest.
This year Workshop consists of two parts which are three days devoted to scientific reports, including 20 reports prepared by JINR scientists from BLTP and FLNR, and the final day allotted for discussion.
That series of Workshops was started in 2010, when the first Workshop was held in the BLTP JINR in Dubna. Since then, the Workshop has been held every year, alternately in the People’s Republic of China and Dubna.
