A ceremonial reception in the Embassy of Mongolia

A ceremonial reception on the occasion of the national holiday Naadam, the 806th anniversary of foundation of the Great Mongol State and the 91st anniversary of the National Democratic Revolution was held in the Mongolian Embassy in RF on 28 June, 2012.

In the course of the reception Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mongolia in RF Doloonzhin Idehvkhehten highly appreciated development of cooperation between Mongolia and Russia, especially since the mid 1990s and voiced the hope for the further strengthening of mutual relations of our countries which share borders of 3000 km.

Director-General of the 1st Asian Department of MFA of RF A.B.Kulik spoke in his reply about involvement of the Soviet Army in clashes with Japan forces in the battles of Khalkhyn Gol, about joint construction of the cities Darkhan and Erdenet, and participation of the Mongolian astronaut in a joint space flight; A.B.Kulik expressed his hopes for the future strengthening of our good neighborly relations.

Representatives of diplomatic missions in Moscow, representatives of RF ministries, public figures, members of the friendship society “Russia-Mongolia” and other officials were present at the reception.

JINR was represented at the reception by Head of LIT Sector Doctor of Physics and Mathematics O.Chuluunbaatar and ICD Chief Engineer M.G.Loshchilov.

Participants visited an exhibition devoted to the Mongolian culture and nature.
