Seminar topic: “Simulation of quantum computations by means of tensor networks on the example of spin dynamics of the one-dimensional XXZ model”
Speakers: Liudmila Siurakshina (MLIT), Victor Yushankhai (BLTP)
Abstract:
Quantum computations algorithms can be represented in terms of tensor networks and implemented on computers with classical architecture. The speakers consider an example of such an implementation for the quantum dynamics of a one-dimensional spin model. The results of the quantitative description of the time behaviour of local magnetisations and spin correlation functions are suggested to be taken as a standard for comparative analysis with similar results previously obtained on existing noisy quantum (NISQ) computers.
