AYSS seminar at JINR Scientists’ Club

Seminars

On 5 March 2025, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6 Joliot-Curie St, left side).

A VBLHEP engineer Vitaly Bautin will deliver a presentation titled “On-chamber electronics: past and present”.

The seminar will focus on the development of on-chamber electronics used in gas detectors. The speaker will provide an overview of the key stages of its development, the main components, and the technology used in early devices. Then, the speaker will present an analysis of achievements in the field, including innovative approaches to improving measurement sensitivity and accuracy and integration with digital data processing systems.

Special attention will be paid to the applications of on-chamber electronics, along with examples of successful projects and research. Seminar participants will have a chance to ask questions and discuss current problems and development prospects in gas detector technology. The seminar will provide valuable information both to professional physicists and engineers and students interested in new detection and measurement technology.
