The JINR Scientists’ Club invites everyone interested to an exhibition entitled “Friends. To the anniversary of Varvara Stepanova”, held in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. The trip will take place on 22 September 2024.

In October 2024 will be 130 years since the birth of Varvara Stepanova, painter, graphic artist, illustrator, theatre artist, designer, fashion designer. One of the main pages of Russian Сonstructivism is traditionally associated with the name of Stepanova. The exhibition at the Pushkin Museum gives an opportunity to enrich the idea of works by the Soviet avant-gardist with a community of women artists whose destinies intersect during the 1910s–1930s: Olga Rosanova, Liubov Popova, Alexandra Ekster, Vera Mukhina, and Nadezhda Lamanova.
