On Tuesday, 25 June 2024, at 4:30 PM, the JINR Scientists’ Club invites everyone interested to the “Islamic world and Russia: development prospects” lecture.

The lecturer is Vitaly Naumkin, Doctor of History, RAS Academician, Scientific Leader of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The report is devoted to the results of historical evolution and current state and prospects for the development of Russia’s relations with the Islamic world. The speaker will raise the question about the subjectivity of the Islamic world, its structure, existing alliances, and contradictions between its main actors, including those of politics, economics, and culture.

The lecture is aimed at strengthening the interaction of the JINR life sciences community with scientists working in humanities.
