On 9 January, applications for participation in the International Summer School for Physics Teachers, organized by the JINR University Centre, are invited.

The International School for Physics Teachers is the UC JINR programme, within which teachers of secondary general education institutions learn about the latest achievements in the modern nuclear physics and elementary particle physics. In 2024, the School will take place on 7 – 13 July.

During the week, the programme participants visit the laboratories of a major global research centre in Dubna, learn about modern equipment, see how modern scientific research is being conducted, listen to lectures by scientists and engineers on the latest achievements in nuclear physics, particle physics, and accelerator technology.

To participate, you should sign up on the School’s website and apply online by 18 May. The successful applicants will receive official invitations from the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. Physics teachers who have not previously participated in physics teacher schools at JINR are invited to participate.
