“Paris, Texas” (1984): An elderly man in a red baseball cap wanders in the desert near the Mexican border. He doesn’t talk or sleep. Using a business card found in the wanderer’s pocket, the local doctor manages to contact his brother Walt, who takes him to his home. The tramp’s name is Travis, he has been missing for four years. Walt and his wife raised Travis’s son Hunter all that time. Travis, in search of Hunter’s mother, Jane takes his son to Houston.
