On 3 October, at 7:00 PM, the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” invites everyone interested to a lecture by Vyacheslav Dubynin “Efficient Brain Work”.

Vyacheslav Dubynin is a Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology of the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University; an expert in the field of physiology, neurobiology, and psychopharmacology; an author of more than 100 scientific papers on brain physiology and neuropharmacology.

Decision making process will be the main topic of the lecture.

The scientist will talk about:

• pitfalls in making decisions, namely two thought systems by Kahneman, effects of stress and time pressure, stereotyping, accumulation of negative programmes;
• activities and limitations of the centres of short-term and long-term memory;
• specificity of leadership;
• procrastination and how to deal with it.

The lecture will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
