XXX International Seminar “Nonlinear phenomena in complex systems” started
Conferences, 19 June 2023
Today, the 30th anniversary International Seminar “Nonlinear phenomena in complex systems” (NPCS) has started at the Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research – Sosny of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. JINR co-organized the event. The event brought together scientists and specialists from the scientific centres of Belarus and Russia.
The seminar “Nonlinear phenomena in complex systems” aims to discuss various aspects of nonlinear dynamics of complex systems in such fields of science and technology as high energy physics and nuclear physics, atomic energy, information processing, mathematical foundations and methods, basics of electronics and optics, as well as economic, social, biological and chemical systems.
The working programme of the event will consist of review and original reports. The proceedings of the seminar will be published as a separate book. Separate reviewed reports will be offered for publication in the Nonlinear Phenomena in Complex Systems journal, which is indexed in the international scientometric databases, namely SCOPUS, Web of Science (ESCI), RSCI. As part of the cultural programme, participants will have an excursion, a visit to the theatre, and a festive dinner in honour of the 30th anniversary of the NPCS-2023 seminar.
The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research – Sosny of NAS of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, B. I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of NAS of Belarus, Belarusian State University, Institute for Nuclear Problems of BSU organized the event.
The seminar will last until 23 June. The working languages of the event are Russian and English.
