The Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites those interested in modern accelerator technologies to take part in the Accelerator Physics School that will be held at the Lipnya Tourist Base of JINR (Lipnya island, Ivankovo reservoir, Tver Region) from 19 to 23 June. The School aims to provide its participants with an overview of the latest achievements of science and technology in the fields of physics of charged particles and accelerator technology.

Students, postgraduates, and young scientists participating in the School will learn about the aims and tasks of the NICA Complex, as well as its major systems. The organizers have prepared a lecture series dedicated to the accelerators and the NICA Complex, a complex technical system uniting and putting into practice latest scientific and technical achievements. Lecturers will report on the history of the complex, its structure and capabilities. Moreover, the course will include lectures on linear accelerators, synchrotrons, colliders, their operation, control systems and power supply.
