The Joint Institute is the foundation of our city, and I’m glad to admit that Dubna owes much to the success of our scientists for its development. At present, JINR is the largest international scientific centre, where the world-class projects are being implemented, cooperation with the BRICS countries is expanding, the factory of superheavy ions is being built and a mega project has been started – the NICA collider is being established. For 60 years, JINR has been a generator of brilliant ideas, a source of scientific enthusiasm and superior results of the world-class.

The JINR’s Foundation Day is a significant date for Dubna! I wish to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research further bright prospects, new discoveries and achievements for the benefit of the City, the country and the world!
